Kansas City welcomed back an institution this month with the reopening of the Golden Ox down in the Stockyards District. It also welcomed several brand-new entrants, including the make-your-own fast-casual restaurant Freestyle Poke in the River Market, as well as American Fusion Café in North Kansas City. Leawood and Lenexa residents and visitors can also now visit Duck Donuts and the Pantry for classic bakery treats. Also in Leawood, Cacao Restaurante opened in its new location after a move to 103rd Street and State Line from 95th and Nall.
